We're saying goodbye to paper cups

Goodbye paper cups
As part of our continued effort to improve sustainability practices, Moonee Valley Libraries will discontinue the use of disposable paper cups in our kitchenettes beginning Monday 8 April.

Why the change?
For several years we have provided free tea and coffee in our kitchenettes, along with disposable single-use cups. These cups contribute to excessive waste and are not aligned with our commitment to sustainability by reducing the environmental impact of our services.

What’s next?
From Monday 8 April, we are asking you to bring your own reusable cup or mug to enjoy our free tea and coffee facilities. We will also have reusable cups for sale for $6.50. For more info please visit our website

Thank you for your understanding as we strive to make responsible choices for the environment.
