Storytimes are back! And celebrate Lunar New Year with us.
Storytimes are back!
Early Literacy Programs are back for 2025! Sessions kick off Monday 3 February. And if weekdays aren’t convenient or you just can’t get enough storytime fun, join us for Saturday Storytimes at Avondale Heights, Flemington, Niddrie, and Sam Merrifield Libraries. Lunar New Year
Join in the excitement of the traditional lion dance, drums and firecrackers to celebrate Lunar New Year! Receive a red pocket or fortune cookie to usher in 2025 – the Year of the Snake. This is a family-friendly all-ages event. Please book for each attending individual.

Join us this summer for free screenings of documentaries, international films, arthouse gems, and classic movies.
 
In February, we’ll be showcasing the thought-provoking documentary Origin, which delves into the mysteries of human origins; the heartwarming drama The Great Escaper, about an elderly man’s unexpected adventure; the  bittersweet love story Daffodils, set to the music of New Zealand’s iconic Topp Twins; and swashbuckling classic The Adventures of Robin Hood, starring Errol Flynn as the legendary outlaw.

Moonee Valley Festival 2025
Moonee Valley Festival returns to Queens Park on Saturday, 22 February 2025. The biggest event on our festival calendar, this much-loved event is back bigger and better than ever! Get ready to celebrate summer and dance the day (and night!) away. We’ve got an incredible line up of music, market stalls, delicious food, live performances, workshops, installations, and so much more!
