Lincoln Park Twilight Festival
Get ready to rock with Eskimo Joe at this year’s Twilight Festival, celebrating twenty years of their award-wining album Black Fingernails, Red Wine. 
 
They’ll be joined by alt-pop band Joan & the Giants, fresh off their Australian tours supporting Pink and The Fray! Plus, crowd favourite DJ Be Kind to Other People will hit the decks and emerging singer Ken Shing rounds out the lineup with his upbeat tunes. The event will be hosted by popular radio and television personality Zan Rowe. 
  
Plus, enjoy kids’ activities, delicious food trucks, roving performers, and more!

Neighbourhood Spirit Awards
Nominations for the Neighbourhood Spirit Awards are now open! 
Do you know someone who’s always ready to lend a helping hand? Someone who makes a real difference in the lives of others in our community? 
 
Now is the perfect time to celebrate them! 
 
The Moonee Valley Neighbourhood Spirit Awards 2026 are open for nominations until Friday, 20 February. These awards recognise the people and groups who contribute to our local community, whether in big ways or small.

Applications for Biannual and Social Support Grants opening soon
Do you have a good community project idea that needs some financial support? The Moonee Valley City Council Biannual Grants Program will be opening on 30 January and closing 1 March 2026.

Free grant writing workshops and help with application sessions will be running in February to help you submit a strong grant application!

Getting ready for school - Immunisation
Getting Ready for School 
Is your child turning four? Visit a Council immunisation session to receive a free picture book and helpful information to support your child’s school readiness. 
 
Council is committed to protecting our community from preventable illnesses such as whooping cough, diphtheria, tetanus, polio and influenza. Our free immunisation service is run by specialist nurses, with no Medicare gap and no need to wait for a GP appointment.
